Thanks for the reminder Also regards your allusions - can you put them in a notepad doc or something to post after new year to see who you were talking about please?

So, how loudly was Michigan crying out for its very own version of Weird Al Yankovic?
-
A Major point violation for whatever 'pickable' is. However... redemption amok for 'albeit'. Calling is a draw.
-
Thanks for the reminder. I will sort my team out in the next week or so.

Form Guide #18 Tommy Smyth The first other Tom Smith might be more athletic, actually famous and have his own Wikipedia page, sure. And the second other Tom Smith his own Bandcamp Page and been self described as Ann Arbor's answer to Weird Al, I'll grant you that. But Tommy Smyth is closer to death (72), and is actually pretty famous (ESPN's primary 'soccer' analyst), famous enough to have his own Wiki page too (though no photo so clearly a B-lister), and if that isn't enough, the mick was the Grand Marshal of the NYC St Patrick's Day Parade in 2008, so if it's a NYTimes obit you seek, bingo!

Thanks for running this! I'll be submitting a team soon

So, How’s Your 2020 Shortlist Looking?
Sir Creep replied to Joey Russ's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Hell, why not just name your C-Team 'Names I got cuz Sir Creep brought them to Deathlist'. Two of the three you posted, so I can assume others. Shite stealing Litsa, no one else has ever mentioned her. Alls fair though. I've always a few new ones. Angie going to let us both down, seeing as I won't be researching this year. She wasn't my joker but a dead cert. SC -
You DO realise no one can search the person's name **insert my angry alpha male face** Winston Lawson

Apologies, I was reading my list as Caswell rather than Farnes.

Bernard Tapie, French business man, former minister, owner of Olympic Marseille and Adidas, and crook. He's a dead certainty if he makes it to 2020. Will his death appear in the British media ?
-
A reminder that the 2020 competition has been open for 8 days now according to long standing precedent (don't worry I'd forgotten too ). A 2019 update and a 2020 'official launch will be posted within this week.

If you look closely, Farnes is on my list, later corrected by Ulitzer I think who added two more names at that time which probably included Hemingway. Alas, I think I had used a Mirror or Mail article for survivors, rather than a better source. Couldn't be arsed updating my list.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/12/07/us/winston-lawson-secret-service-agent-obit/index.html Secret Service agent who planned Kennedy’s Dallas route dead at 91.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/12/07/us/pearl-harbor-uss-arizona-lauren-bruner-trnd/index.html I haven’t looked into this deeply but this article claims only three remaining USS Arizona survivors are living. I wouldn’t have thought it was quite so few.

Form Guide #17 - ATM Shamsuzzaman Venerated figure in the realm of Bangladeshi entertainment who also inhabits the deadpooler-chagrining niche of yo-yoing in and out of hospitals. A not so fun fact about him is one of his sons killed another one of his sons in 2012. Will ATM withdraw in early 2020?
