That is a shock. And deep down I am really sad that it's true. You never can tell, can you? Not belittling in any way what their victims have suffered, but the one thing that we, the good public, have to miss out on when these celebs are finally found guilty of their vile crimes is their contribution to the world of entertainment. You never hear a Gary Glitter song played any more. We'll never again get to see when it was fixed for those boy scouts to eat their lunch on a rollercoaster, with the fat one throwing his drink everywhere... And now, we'll never hear "Two Little Boys" on the radio at Christmas again. Oh well, every cloud...

"Many activity features for children by ROLF Himself" So, we were warned, then?

If so, he should be able to move quickly - he has the advantage of three legs!

I wonder if it was Peter Sutcliffe?

I wonder how much The Sun paid the reliable source of one person for that feature?

I wonder what would have happened if I hadn't bothered to help Rolf up off the floor when he was dragged off stage at the London Forum in Kentish Town some 20 years ago. The song "Six White Boomers" was one of my favourite as a child, my gran even bought a couple of his albums for me as presents. Dragged off stage? What's this all about then? He was dragged off stage by a group of drunken students. I was stood close by and helped him back on his feet. Before or after he groped the female ones? He didn't get a chance to grope anyone. He was caught by surprise than anything.

With the case against Rolf being upheld, police will probably be more confident to proceed with charges against that "beloved pop star" now. Every cloud...

Hmmmm, not good, not good at all. Savile, Glitter, sure but Rolf? Just goes to show how much we don't know about public figures...

Then I guess his career and royalty payments are dead. His death, and that of his wife, have also probably been brought forward by this. DL 2015, surely.

Meshach. And nobody outside the US has ever seen an episode of "Designing Women". Just say "the black guy from Mannequin". I never saw Designing Women until I moved to the US. Mesach was on my list of people to research as I was curious to know who out of that show was still alive. I had his name written down somewhere, couldn't remember where I'd put that list, forgot the name of the show and now I don't have to bother with part of my research

Where is the British sense of humour these days? We have been running a RIP list since 2004 in our pub, so tell those people who have won over the years such winnings as Bobby Robson £1000. Pavarotti £600 Mickey Rooney £400 etc etc.. that is a bad idea.............. Our problem now is that we should be trying to bring some younger potentials in to our list, and this is where any suggestions would be helpful. Our list has been won in June with the late Eli Wallach, but only worth £120 to the lucky winner, and it would be nice to build up the pot. what is interesting is that those who described our list as "morbid, disgusting, distasteful ,abhorrent and vile" are the same people who want to go on it when a vacancy becomes available and are on the phone when a celebrity has gone with the immortal comment "Who had them" Take it for what it is.............light hearted, topical and interesting, so much so that we had to increase out list to 60 names to cope with the demand, and we have a waiting list of 7 names ...........all this in a small pub.

Dune Entertainment? Wow that's a weird name, I'm sure for anyone who has seen the film Dune, the word entertainment is the last thing they would ever say after it in a word-association exercise.....

Sounds like they got a bunch of wayne and waynetta's on the jury. No wonder rolf thought singing to them might win them over, clearly by the looks of it he will get off.

If i were Rolf (or his brief), based on what I've read here, i'd be questioning the suitability of the jury to make a decision on what to have in the sandwiches, let alone my/his guilt, or otherwise. Since I live in a country that doesn't do trial by jury, I don't understand a thing of this. Aren't there some Standard Instructions to the Jury which cover that? regards, Hein
