That list is near perfect. Just take off Queen Elizabeth and Bill Clinton and add John Nash and Josef Fritzl and you have a perfect list for 2015! This list is a little too US Centric for my liking.

Being neither a 'Sun' reader nor an 'I'm a Nonenity...' viewer, I have no idea who Nadia Forde is; is she actually "famous" or just "famous"? I mean, will anyone still remember her 3 months after she's left the jungle? Fame can be so fleeting...

Not everyone watches Gay Moth Thrones, twatface. Clarify or die. Don't need to watch it to know he is in it, as you obviously do

Is there any chance of changing the thread title to "Rugby Union" or something similar, because I for one have no idea what "Andy Ripley and other boofheads" means.

Not very likely that 3 former US Presidents and 3 former First Ladies, two of them married couples, will die in the same year.

Sir Nicholas Winton would be a very good pick for next years DL. He`s called "The british Schindler" who organized the rescue of roundabout 700 jewish childrens from Nazis-occupy. Sir Winton is actually 105 years old, for my opinion a must-have in every DL.

If no one between the DDP's top 9 and Simon goes in the next month then this will be the first year in which the sole most popular DDP hit (as it stands, Jaruzelski) wasn't picked by the DL that year. (the closest to that before is 1999 in which the most popular hit was a tie between Nimmo/DiMaggio, the former wasn't on the DL but the latter was)

Olivia De Havilland on December 15, just to annoy her sister on her first death anniversary.

I read the other day on Twitter that there are plans afoot to remake Highlander with Tom Cruise being considered for the role that Sean Connery played in the original. Firstly Highlander does not need remaking the sequels were bad enough but infintely ignorable. Secondly when has any film been improved by the casting of Tom Cruise. Aaaaaarrrrggghhhhh

Surely to qualify as a "Victorian", you have to have been a subject of the monarch of the day. Therefore there are only 2 - the UK's Ethel Lang, and Violet Brown from Jamaica, who is a little older. Hopefully Ethel outlives the Jamaican lady, only seen appropriate that the last Victorian alive is from Britain! How very imperialistic of you! I am going to cheer on the colonies now because of that. Hang in there, Violet!

I think we should have three counts: 1. Last person born in the 19th Century. 2. Last person who was born while Queen Vic was still alive. 3. Last person born while Queen Vic was still alive who was also one of Queen Vic's subjects. EDIT: I just did the research and we have 1. 6 people verified to have been born in the 19th Century if you count 1 Jan 1900 as the beginning of the twentieth century. 1A. 14 people verified to have been born in the 19th Century if you count 1 Jan 1901 as the beginning of the twentieth century. 2. Likewise, 14 people verified to have been born whilst Queen Vic was still alive. 3. 2 people (Ethel and Violet) who were subjects of Queen Vic.
