As interesting of a person as he is, unfortunately he’s not really the type of person that the deathlist usually goes after...

Philip at 1, Queenie at 50. Royal sandwich!

Well I only come here for the music and TV recommendations. It's a great shock to learn the rest of you deadpool...

Helpful metric to keep in mind with any future threads you want to start: Can you honestly see any updates on Mr. Leavelle besides "happy birthday!" and "dead"? Okay, maybe a semi-yearly "surviving link to Kennedy assassination remembers his interactions with Oswald" article. Certainly a fascinating historical link, but really not enough legs for his own thread. And no, lifeis is not Life is Beautiful, just a coincidence in names.

Robert W. Blakeley, the designer of the 'Fallout Shelter' symbol/sign seen all over the USA in case we get nuked, died on Wednesday at 95 at Brookdale Southside senior living community in Jacksonville, Fla. SC

The Romanian press did cover his 96th birthday, but I can't find anything about him being in a "critical condition". The official press release (in Romanian) merely states that His Majesty continues to be attended by physicians (various medical specialists) as well as two orthodox nuns. In one source, his state of health was described as fragile, "as fragile as the state of health of his country, 27 years after the Romanian Revolution".

Philip at 1, QEII at 50, King Mihai at 25 (if he makes it that far) seems like a good idea.

So you’re saying that there’s no way a 90 year old can die next year at all? Lol...

Yeah I listened to it today, it's very good and the music video they made for the title track is very sad.

I came home from work to a note the wife left on the fridge saying "This isn't working, " I opened the fridge, the light went on and my beer was cold, it's working just fine.

In this case I don't agree.... the QEII Is such a BIG name to miss (also if she look healthier than other names in the list...)

We've never had so few candidates; so more chance of success if you vote Great days for dead pooling these are!

Yep, he's probably going to be one of many who's on the shortlist but won't make the starting line...

I remember the DDP once had a tagline along the lines of "death happens, why not make it interesting?" I view it in a similar matter. With really elderly celebs I tend to root for them to make the century mark unless it's an utter bastard like one of those ancient Nazis or someone with a very poor quality of life (like Zsa Zsa, who shouldn't have made 95 in the state she was in, let alone die a few months short of 100).

I would say he is famous enough for the Deathlist guaranteed uk obituary guaranteed .At 103 he would be a good pick for next years list also.Sure he is great for his age but at such an old age any bug fall accident or illness can easily turn fatal.
