You can philosophize yourself into a corner where someone will find you drooling and rocking back and forth while humming nursery songs to yourself. If you want to watch House of Cards or Pulp Fiction or The Pianist or read Mein Kampf or Bleak House or listen to the Symphonie Fantastique, fine. Do so. People are complicated. Very few are irredeemable. Accept the beauty with the ugliness. Both have something to teach us.

At the moment that's 26 things. And at least 20 halfway things. And a bunch of pathetic, sorry assed, slimy politicians - most of whom have full time professional protection - offering their worthless thoughts and prayers. You know, those wonderfully effective things that do such an amazing job stopping this bullshit time and time again. The same thoughts and prayers that stopped 20 elementary school children from being slaughtered and concert goers from being picked off like fish in a barrel and a bunch of people in a nightclub being executed and an eight month old from being annihilated by a guy who was going out with an Uzi to hunt humans. I wish I couldn't go on. I can, but I won't. More guns and prayers - that's working so fucking well, isn't it? I used to think that my countrymen who weren't angry just weren't paying attention. Now I think they are blind.

T is a schedule IV drug over here - low potential for abuse/dependence. Still a controlled substance with prescribing restrictions, but not along the lines of an OxyContin or Dilaudid. T has a wicked side effect/withdrawal profile. It lowers the seizure threshold and can cause serotonin syndrome, which I can tell you from personal experience completely sucks. I think that if I was going to choose a drug to abuse this would not be the one. It's not as addictive as others and it has more negative effects than anything remotely approaching positive. Go find a real opiate or give up on being a drug addict. T ain't worth it.

There's no you and there's no Bladan. Bladan is Manitou, the great omnipresent spirit. Bladan is Tao. Bladan is Spinoza's God in which Einstein believed. All we have ever had, or ever can have, are experiences in Brahman's mind. We experience space and time and physical bodies and bills and back pain and Donald Trump and Kim Kardashian and climate change only because the mind is divided from singularity to plurality. The same illusion is produced in a gallery of mirrors. Or in the library that I saw in a dream. We are not a collection of breaking mirrors or rotting books. We are One. We are the quantum tetrahedron. We are the trinity. We are Batman, Robin and the Catwoman. We are Lucy in the sky with kaleidoscope diamonds and marmalade eyes.

The dull answer is that if we all stopped watching or reading or listening to the work of scum, there'd be fuck all films, books and music left. Distance obviously helps - Dickens was a grade A twat to women, but he's been dead 150 years - but currently, really, separate the art from the artist if at all possible. Also, see House of Cards? BBC did it in 1990 with Ian Richardson. Much better, and the leads not getting Weinsteined because he died years ago. Watch that instead.

Aye, reminds me of Robert Duvall on the Norton show. Norton - Any plans for a rest? Duvall - Well, I'm 84. I'll be having a long rest before too long!

I mentioned this guy last year, and I'm not really sure why. Anyhow, he died in May, apparently. Very acclaimed! Also, not even useful for Deathrace points. Just tying up a loose end, as it were.

Talking of Sabrina, have you seen how far Harvey has gone downhill in 20 years?

I would cast doubt that he would voluntarily go out when he's been on the brink of death for the entire year.

Can they let the poor guy rest? He's a 93 year old with Parkinson's that's been hospitalized at least 3 times this year alone. It can't be healthy forcing him into the public on a frigid November day. Nobody was surprised nor did they expect Reagan or Ford to put their misery in the public eye like how 43 and Barbara seem to be exploiting him.

Form Guide #4 -Franco Zeffirelli The Knighted Director was too ill to travel from Rome to his hometown of Florence earlier in the year for the opening of a museum named after him, a demise in 2018 seems highly probable. Before high speed porn or being allowed to watch R-Rated movies, his 1968 version of Romeo and Juliet was a must watch for generations of young lads courtesy of Olivia Hussey's cleavage .

So, some low budget horror director is already concocting a plot that involves Brady's ashes, the radioactive effluent from Sellafield and a Brady-Hulk emerging from those icy waters to give it a little of the no more Mr Nice Guy routine in Manchester.

Alan Abel, maybe this death won't be a hoax, & he won't be faking it, this time?
