The Great Cornholio 899 Posted October 27, 2020 Kier Starmer involved in crash, looks like he hit a cyclist... Surprised to find there wasn't a thread on him already so here we go - plus if he ends up making a regular habit of hitting stuff with his car then he might just be deathlisty...
TQR 14,353 Posted October 27, 2020 A healthy man in his 50s has his own thread now because knocked down a cyclist. Okay then. 2 1
gcreptile 10,941 Posted October 27, 2020 Well, there were worse threads than this, including some by me, but not many. It certainly doesn't seem to amount to a new Chappaquiddick incident.

Boris Johnson, for example. No idea why he had a thread pre-Covid.

We have one of Simon Cowell, and one of Donald Trump (both threads were created at a time where both men were in their 60's and in relatively good health). Also didn't BoJo have his thread created when he was like 40? This thread was created because I felt that Mr Starmer is noteworthy enough to have his own thread, with him being the LotO in this country and all I was surprised to find that he didn't have one. My comment about him being on the forums because of his driving and the off chance he was just a really bad driver was clearly a joke btw.

See my post above, I agree; many of these threads aren’t necessary. If we had a thread for everyone this noteworthy, this place would be teeming with tonnes of mostly dormant threads. And let’s face it, for discussing non-health-related news on people like Starmer, we’ve got pertinent threads in Extra Curricular. Trump - shouldn’t have had his own thread until he became president: he’s old, fat and divisive presidents have historically had bullets fly in their direction. Cowell, as far as I can make out, just broke his back. Johnson got Covid, but before that, no point in his thread either.
Sir Creep 7,069 Posted October 27, 2020 Another stupid fucking thread, and I could have been blindfolded and asked who started it, and been right. SC 3

Perhaps 1,422 Posted October 27, 2020 You obviously only made this so you can have more threads to trigger people with your obsessive political chat. Get a hobby.

Dying Probably 578 Posted October 28, 2020 This thread has 0 need - he seems rather healthy at the moment. Honestly Kenny, is this a way to spit more politics on here? Because Jesus fucking Christ, let it go. 1

time 8,575 Posted October 28, 2020 If there's no support for a particular thread, it will wither and die. Chillax peeps. And some of you noobs need to get some in before you start telling the older members what's right & what's wrong round these parts. 2 1

TQR 14,353 Posted January 12, 2022 Just now, Sean said: To be fair though he had the most open of open goals to score at. Doesn’t matter. What matters is he acted and spoke as an opposition leader should. No backing down, just a thorough twatting around the face for the (for now) PM. I hope he keeps at it and stops being the disappointment he thus far has been. Because, no matter who is leader after Johnson has been ousted, the Tories are in serious, serious trouble.
msc 18,397 Posted January 12, 2022 tbh Labour did show small signs pre-Christmas of waking up from their long slumber. A competent and sensible government would have been wary of this potentiality.
