Miyazaki is coming out of retirement to make "one last film" (again).

 

He retired in 2013, later came back and retired again and is now back. 

He's older than his parents (father got to 78, mother to 72. He'll be 81 in january) were and is a chain smoker, has been for decades. Also seems to have a heart condition that caused his 2013 hospitalisation. I feel like he'll be on the DL in a couple of years if his health starts declining.

Many articles and even herself cited 1934 as her year of birth. Don’t know what to think about her but if she’s really 91, she deserves (I think) a spot on the list

There's no plausible birth registration for her in 1934.  The General Register Office is a pretty impeccable source.

She wouldn't be the first to knock a few years off her age when asked.

I used to have her down as born in 1934 but I think that was the case of someone on the internet making an error and everyone copying them blindly.  She's very much a 1930 child.

 

Actually no, here it is from Heather Tilbury Philips in 2020, who used to work with Quant and is still in touch with her.

There's an update on Larry Holley from yesterday on his son's facebook page, a comment on the 20-day old post (https://www.facebook.com/randy.holley2) saying that he's better now. Congestive heart failure and/or pneumonia according to his son.

I can’t imagine any of these ever getting a call up even through several them would fit.

If the DL was US run, Lear probably would've been on it 5-6 years by now since he is A list here but from what I understand his sitcoms were largely Americanizations of UK ones and thus never really had any reason to make a splash overseas.

 

He'd still BBC obit easily imo on account of his place in US culture but a DL spot would surprise me
