Wormfarmer 428 Posted April 18, 2023 Doddie Weir died in November, which would give me 140 points and a total of 1260. I would move up 2 places on the board, but still a miserable performance by all weights and measures. I love this format, but still suck at it. New strategy in mind for next year. Mark my words: I will improve!!!
gcreptile 10,994 Posted April 19, 2023 I usually fail at this, so 4th place is a nice result. Chris Stone dying in the final week is probably the most realistic chance of winning. The others aren't differentials and not enough/require a very unlikely combination of circumstances.

This has been the bridesmaid pool for me and I'm second again. Frank Field would see me jump over Perhaps but get gazzumped by TheOldLady so I think a Francoise Hardy death might be my best shot.
CaptainChorizo 1,990 Posted April 20, 2023 Small update I seemed to miss Doddie Weir in Nov who was a hit for theunknownman, wormfarmer and wannamaker And I missed Jim Broyhill's QO obit from the Independent which gives a solo hit to MortalCaso Scores have been updated for those players, which moves all of them up muliple positions but does not effect the top of the leaderboard.
