A quick heads up, Barbara Walters died today age 93

Cheers! On the first page I have all Pele and Barbara Walters bolded with their subs bolded as well, I did the same to my own list.

Late deaths are so inconsiderate, they don't even think about us

Edit: due to Pele’s death, Pervez Musharraf has been elevated to my DDP top 20.

Rhod Gilbert has been added to take up the vacancy in the top 50.

This has not aged well.

Now that Benedict XVI has died Rhod Gilbert had been elevated to my top 50, as it so happens he was my first sub for no other reason than he was in the number 21 line.

Sandy Gall has been added to take up the vacancy in the top 50.

On the masterlist, I will replace Pope Benedict XVI with Roberta Flack.

I would like to say that I don't want to personally have to edit (and potentially make mistakes) with peoples lists, and would much prefer for ctrl c + ctrl v to be used in you making your list here (and adding more work to this labour of love for me :) ). I do this for free and am just trying to streamline the process.

There's more than a few submissions in this competition.

All edits from this point forward may be checked and questioned. If you're just placing your first sub onto your list, that will be automatically considered and you don't need to make a new list.

Please make a brand new comment for new lists or edits - the masterlist has already been compiled. Edits of old comments will go unnoticed.

I appreciate your curtesy and will add it on promptly. I have time zones in mind - if someone dies in 1st of January 2023 in Australia but that's still 2022 in the UK and the USA, I think the consideration would always go to the time zone where that person died.

So, just to make sure I understand correctly-pretty much no more edits and the subs come on? Replaced the late Benedict XVI for Tongo, the peruvian singer who got famous over his "covers" (if you could call them that) of popular songs. Had him on the list this year also; if he's not famous enough or should the sub be already used, then I'll swap him with MacGowan.

Oh, now I see the masterlist, so I guess MacGowan moves on up for Benedict XVI either way(?)

There is no official deadline for entries to this competition. As long as it's in good faith (good faith is mentioned in the rules and not an attempt at a Benedict pun)

If you would like something different than what is on the Masterlist, now is the right time to post a new comment and let me know.

I'm suggesting you post your whole list with only the new changes included if you would like Tongo placed in there as I'm not entirely clear if you're wanting that right now. I will "timestamp" any new changes made.

I edited out Pope Benedict and entered Arthur Scargill  and added in a sub too, in case something happens in the next 12hrs or so. Hope I've done that right

Edited comments will go unnoticed now that I've made the masterlist.

Check here the masterlist. Posting your list again would be your best option for having both Arthur Scargill entered and a new sub to be considered.
