Donald P. Bellisario, producer of Magnum P.I., Airwolf and JAG.

Will be facing that dangerous age of 89 in 2024, and has been suffering from a life-threatening brain condition, hydrocephalus ("water on the brain"), since 2012, which has caused him extensive memory loss, disorientation, unsteadiness and lack of coordination.

I don’t really believe he is a 2024 possibility but he doesn’t have his own thread and I simply wanted to highlight that……

Richard Curtis has married his partner of 33 years. I’m always suspicious when this happens. He has also (in recent weeks) been expressing some regrets concerning his most popular films (fat jokes for example).

Peter Mandelson also got married after being with his partner a long time recently but looks in good shape.

Is it me or are there relatively few names whose health has declined a lot this year moving them on to list/Drop 40 contention when they were not before.

I can think of Esther Rantzen,  Julie Goodyear, Noddy Holder and Sam Neil. Bruce Willis will make the Drop 40 I suspect but not sure about the list.

Theo Burrell one for the DDP only.

Feels too early for Ken Livingstone and Alastair Stewart. George Lazenby looks rough but I’m not sure if he is ill.

I think personally the list should take a punt on Julie Walters.

Feels like Michael Caine and Rupert Murdoch might (and maybe Should) be on it as well. Liza Minnelli should return as well.

The Unicerf adverts have been on today hosted by Martin Bell and he looks rough.

Was thinking the same thing.Rantzen and Goodyear and Willis seem nailed on.Can see Michael Caine and Rupert Murdoch making it on both lists. Clint Eastwood has a good chance of making it onto both as well. Can see Toby Keith getting on the Drop 40 too.

Can see Sophia Loren and Brigette Bardot getting on the Drop 40 and Deathlist also.

Seriously put Brigitte Bardot (and also Alain Delon if you want to) and Sophia Loren into the deathlist, All had health issues these past years, and also Michael Caine and Vanessa Redgrave. David Attenborough needs to come back in the DL, he will turn 98 next year. And for Bruce Willis, it doesn't looking good for him, keep him in mind.

Sam Bankman-Fried has been found guilty on all accounts and could face up to 110 years.

I'm also thinking of his parents who assisted him every step of the way. They are notable academics with their own Wikipedia pages and really some kind of liberal caricature. I'm kind of getting some Madoff family vibes.

Patrick Murray, Roberta Flack and Sam Neill should make DL24 imo. I've no truck for "he's not famous enough" arguments over a famous face from Britain's most loved sitcom. The Cmme picked Genesis Porridge and Bill Gates dad, there is no fame bar, just who the Cmme feel like picking.

Esther Rantzen should probably make it too, just because you'd want to have her when she goes. (This message is from the non-fans of Esther Rantzen.)

I think Chabelo should have been included in this year's list, I propose Clint Eastwood for 2024

Denis Law will 100% return to the DL in 2024, for the following reasons

1. The death of Bobby Charlton calls for another footballer candidate

2. He is the only survivor of the United Trinity, and the Committee don't like missing big footballer names

3. He has been suffering from Alzheimer's and vascular dementia since 2021

4. He is one of the only candidates dropped from the 2022 DL, still alive.

American actor Ryan O'Neal should also be seriously considered for the 2024 DL, given his prior run-ins with leukemia and prostate cancer, but of course less likely to be chosen by the committee.

Hopefully next year they actually put Nobel Prize winner Robert Solow on, since he'll be turning 100 in August.

5. His condition has deteriorated to the extent that he hasn’t made any public appearances for quite a while now and his tribute to Bobby Charlton was likely ghostwritten.

Sam Neill seems like he will last a few years yet.Patrick Murray definitely needs a place on the list and could well get on the Drop 40 too.Easily famous enough. Flack also deserves a spot on next year's list.Surprised she wasn't on this year's list.Guess the committee thought it was too soon and they where probably right unless she dies in the next few weeks.

Vanessa Redgrave definitely deserves to come back on next year's list.Tom Baker I think should also make a debut.Think both names will struggle to make the Drop 40.

O 'Neal has looked terrible for years so that's a good shout.
