This sounds like a guy bought some used music equipment (circa 1982) and just discovered how MIDI works. Go listen to MARRS or West End Girls, which are the approx same bpm and likewise sequenced keyboards and nothing else, and hear the difference. It just sounds amateurish.  And 1982 phoned and said it would like its drum machine handclaps back.
