Very true that, though tbh Hung Up sticks in my craw a bit too. I actually bought the Confessions from the Dancefloor CD and it is quite impressive because it flows through with no breaks. There are a lot of samples on it but that is what she was doing at that time. Some do accuse Madonna of being a bit of a cultural vampire absorbing things for her own needs but it is still more listenable to that a lot on this list.
