Yeah I don’t know if I could deal with a case like her if I was playing competitively, about the same age as me which is extremely depressing to think about. And yet it’s pick like her that might be crucial to a team chances of winning

Dead of 2024 (probably) include Abdul Shokoor Ezedi, according to Met Police anyway: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-68255937

Found myself wondering if his facial burns had gone gangrenous yet, probably worrying needlessly on his behalf, then.

Aye, I recall saying somewhere hereabouts that we should disregard the conspiracy crap that was starting online and expect he'd turn up when and where the police suggested.

Pretty sad end all round, then

This kind of death wants me to petition once again for the restoration of the Silly Sports thread to the main Forum. ;)

I would support that, albeit perhaps with a less judgmental moniker in the same way the Rugby and Academics threads were renamed to remove the terms 'boofheads' and 'arrogant', respectively.

Lacrosse is quite an aggressive sport actually. I've never thought of it as silly. Women's football on the other hand...

Fleur van Dooren was a field hockey player for the Dutch national team, she died at the age of 35 by euthanasia, she suffered from depression
I knew that Euthanasia was allowed in the Netherlands, but I didn't know it was allowed for reasons of depression, I was surprised, I thought it was only for terminally ill patients
