Here's him definitely not running for Chancellorship of Oxford University earlier this month. He ultimately lost to William Hague a couple of days ago. He was also part of the BBC General Election coverage in July for several hours into the night, if I recall correctly. If he's well enough to do both of these things, he's probably not going to die any time soon. Of course, he could randomly keel over at any time, but that is much more unlikely. Phantom 2,552 Posted November 30 Saw a short news piece a few days ago that was discussing the "possibility" of a nuclear strike in regards to the conflict in Ukraine and also the Gaza strip. In the background of one part, they had Tom Lehrer singing "we'll all go together when we go". Lehrer will be 97 next year. Could be worth putting on the list. He's no longer responding to autographs apparently, so , sadly, I think you may be right.

Spade_Cooley 9,638 Posted December 2 Would Ian Smith be the first time a DL pick has shared a name with a previous DL pick (former Rhodesian premier Ian Smith, a perennial favourite of "actually I'm not a conservative I'm a classical liberal" types on xformerlyknownastwitter, was a hit in 2007)?

I have now read a few UK stories about him today and I can't find any reference to it being said that he is expected to die in next few months. Do you have such a source? Thanks I did read it somewhere this morning but can’t seem to find it mentioned when I looked again however the average life span of someone with the disease is between 5 to 8 months after being diagnosed so its unlikely he will be around come 2026 sadly

SteveIsDead 2 Posted December 4 Tom Baker needs to remain on the list I think Stanley Johnson could be a shock for next year. Getting old now (mid 80’s) and his lifestyle of saturated fats and salty foods from living a high life will catch up. Plus, the stress of his son surely has to factor in. and finally Miriam Margoyles. Superstitious but I keep going Harry Potter Studios and each time I go a cast member dies within 3 weeks. So far killed Robbie Coltrane, Michael Gambon and Maggie Smith. Let me get a fourth with Miriam or Julie Walters since she’s had stage 3 bowel cancer for some time now.
