To add to this, the votes were split right down the middle. Labour beat her by 78 votes (12,523 to 12,445) and were loudly booed. I don't agree with calling Shaheen a cunt like some others in the other thread. Clearly both candidates are popular in their community, but they should have worked something out beforehand.
