maryportfuncity 10,682 Posted April 13, 2006 How quickly we forget eh? A year ago it was all Pontiff action around these parts, now he's over 10,000 views short of a mediocre excuse for a sitcom actor and languishing way down the listings. Or he was. Bennett_Cerf 2 Posted May 20, 2006 I would not have thought this 3 years ago or even a year past, but Pope John-Paul2 was one of the best there ever was. Compared to the withered old woman currently doing the job it would be hard to find any fault with John-Paul2.

The Mad Hatter 1,093 Posted August 5, 2015 Sister Lucia, Jerry Falwell, The Pope - Holy crap who's next, God Himself? this was posted in 2005 and Falwell died suddenly in 2007, how?
Sir Creep 7,071 Posted August 6, 2015 Sister Lucia, Jerry Falwell, The Pope - Holy crap who's next, God Himself? this was posted in 2005 and Falwell died suddenly in 2007, how?Don't recall. But I'm posting to say that's a shitty 'coincidental deaths' seeing as Falwell DID get into my Coincidental Deaths db..!Falwell, Tammy Faye Bakker, Rex Humbard and one other televangelism stalwart (Oral Roberts maybe? I'm doing this off the top of my head) all died in about 90 days. THOSE are the real coincidences, not Sister Lucia whoever the living hell she is. As for the Pope, I don't recall his death being coincidental with anything, as I lumped televangelists together and didn't have to stretch to make something out of nothing. drol 12,125 Posted January 21, 2017 The doctor who assisted Pope John Paul II during his illness (and mainly during his final hours), Renato Buzzonetti, has died yesterday aged 92. https://it.zenit.org/articles/addio-al-dottor-renato-buzzonetti-il-medico-dei-papi/ He also declared John Paul I dead in 1978 and assisted Benedict XVI for four years.
