Carmine Caridi, who appeared in the Godfather, has died aged 85.

Also interesting to note that he was originally supposed to play Sonny Corleone in the first Godfather movie. After Al Pacino became available to play Michael Corleone, James Caan (the original Michael) was given the part of Sonny because he was closer to Pacino's height than Caridi. It's interesting to think what could've been....

Wait for the Hollywood Reporter.

Honorary Oscars to be handed out to David Lynch (fair enough), Wes Studi (eh, makes sense in a "first Native American to win an Oscar" but you should have given one to Russel Means when he was still alive), Geena Davis (wait what?) and Lina Wertmuller. Honorary Oscars are often a "shit, give them something before they croak" and I think that's what we've got here in Wertmuller's case.

About a week ago, Suzanne Whang had another fundraiser for her upcoming shamanic healing journey. Wetton-esque picture of her at the fundraiser below:

This is on top of her sometimes making pessimistic posts to social media about debilitating pain et al, which, when coming from someone who has full faith in alternative healing methods, can't mean much time is left.
