As film director Cecil B. DeMille (1881-1959) is mentioned in the description of this thread, I decided to check how many main DeMille actors are alive. The list isn't large:

Samson and Delilah (1949):

Angela Lansbury (born 1925)

Russ Tamblyn (born 1934)

The Ten Commandments (1956):

Debra Paget (born 1933)

Fraser Clarke Heston (born 1955)

DeMille as executive producer:

When Worlds Collide (1951):

Barbara Rush (born 1927)

Rachel Ames (born 1929)

The War of the Worlds (1953):

Ann Robinson (born 1929)

The Buccaneer (1958):

Claire Bloom (born 1931)

DeMille also had cameos in:

Glamour Boy (1941), only alive actor is Darryl Hickman (born 1931)

Sunset Boulevard (1950), only alive actor is Nancy Olson (born 1928)

Son of Paleface (1952), only alive actor is Sylvia Lewis (born 1931)

The Buster Keaton Story (1957), only alive actor is Ann Blyth (born 1928)

That would have been the QO

List of the missed, and a missed chance to have the alphabetically first hit ever.

I really picked the wrong year to enter that team.

To be honest I thought you were going to enter that team annually.  At least until it was successful.

My full 1925 IMDb list will be finished and up by tonight on the Deadpool Detective thread, but two significant findings so far:

Angela Lansbury – stopped signing autographs last month. Last pictured September 2020(?), last acted 2019. I think age has caught up with her. May be nothing, but wouldn't be shocked if she goes soon.

Michel Bouquet – last role was in early 2020 (though probably filmed in 2019). In March 2020, he returned a piece of signed mail to a fan, but his secretary also wrote on it that he couldn't write a response letter as he was very sick and had been for a long time. I imagine he'll be gone by the end of this year.

Mentioned in one of the historical "Ideas and Possibilities" threads before on here.

Someone edited the page for Hollywood Golden-era actress May Wynn on 2nd April to say that she died on 22nd March, aged 93.

Anyway, it wasn't a hoax and here's proof:

She was born Donna Lee Hickey in Jan 1928, and her second (and last) marriage was to Jack Custer in 1968. They divorced in 1979 but she kept the name. A search on the Accurint website brings up this record:

DONNA LEE CUSTER
DONNA L CUSTER
DONNA CUSTER
D CUSTER
DOB: 1/xx/1928
DOD: 03/22/2021
Age at death: 93
Gender - Female
*View Sources (~3)

Someone on the Voy.com obits message board also said that an email from the Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church (where she latterly taught) confirmed her death.

I'll ping this to IMDb and Deadline.

Wynn was the last surviving credited cast member of the 1954 film "The Caine Mutiny" (adopted from a book by former DL hit Herman Wouk).

In the film she played the character May Wynn, the love interest of Willie Keith (played by Robert Francis, who tragically died in a plane crash in 1955 aged 25). She then adopted the name of the character as her permanent stage name for the remainder of her film career.
