Hollywood Possibilities

I just realized that the cast of some of the early Pixar films are pretty old now and damn it makes me realizes time has gone fast.

From Toy Story

Wallace Shawn (age 78, voice of Rex)

Estelle Harris (age 93, voice of Mrs Potato Head)

Plenty of the cast from the first movie is dead already. Don Rickles, Jim Varney, R. Lee Ermey etc.

From Finding Nemo

Barry Humphries (age 87, voice of Bruce the great white shark)

Bruce Spence (age 76, voice of Chum the mako shark)

Austin Pendleton (age 80, voice of Gurgle the purple fish)

Geoffrey Rush (age 70, voice of Nigel the pelican)

From Monsters Inc.

John Goodman (age 69, voice of Sulley)

Billy Crystal (age 73, voice of Mike Wazowski)

From Cars

Paul Dooley (age 93, voice actor of Sarge)

Michael Wallis (age 76, voice actor of Sherriff)

Cheech Marin (age 75, voice actor of Ramone. And yes, this is the Cheech from Cheech and Chong)

Michael Keaton (age 70, voice actor of Chick Hicks)

Additionally two guest star NASCAR drivers (Richard Petty and Darrell Waltrip age 84 and 74 respectviely) as well as NASCAR promoter and former Charlotte Motor Speedway president Humpy Wheeler (age 83).

And we can't forget Pixar legend John Ratzenberger, who voiced a character in just about every Pixar film, who is 74.

There are also many from Cars 2.

As well as Dooley, Wallis, Marin, Waltrip and Ratzenberger, there is also:

Michael Caine (age 88, voice of Finn McMissile)

Sophia Loren (age 87, Italian dubbing of Mama Topolino)

Vanessa Redgrave (age 84, voice of Mama Topolino and The Queen)

Brent Musburger (age 82, voice of Brent Mustangburger)

David Hobbs (age 82, voice of David Hobbscap)

Franco Nero (age 80, voice of Uncle Topolino)

Joe Mantegna (age 74, voice of Grem)

Obituary

Actor?

The obit mentions his WWII service.
The obit mentions his tenure on some soil conservation board.

The obit mentions his lion taming and barbershop quartet performances.  Ok I made that up, just like YOU fucking made up that he was ‘an actor’.

Honorary Oscars to be handed out to David Lynch (fair enough), Wes Studi (eh, makes sense in a "first Native American to win an Oscar" but you should have given one to Russel Means when he was still alive), Geena Davis (wait what?) and Lina Wertmuller. Honorary Oscars are often a "shit, give them something before they croak" and I think that's what we've got here in Wertmuller's case.

Lina Wertmüller dead at 93.

Use the search function before you post. That’s what it’s there for.
