South Korea fights its suicide epidemic with one-day test funerals for pupils:

Hmm, doesn't look that scary to me. Actually somewhat cozy.

Bad week/good week for deadpoolers.

Bad week.

Wee baby cured from leukaemia with gene therapy. Now that could signal the start of miracle recoveries in a few years time, especially for our targets, as they generally are the type that can afford expensive shit.

Good week.

A man suffering from hiv is finished off by cancer. But not his. It belonged to a tapeworm he had inside him. Help for us from above? Who knows..

As with all these miracle cures via science, let's see how long the 'cure' lasts and what other medical maladies belie the little girl. When you play with science, the results are unknown. Not to flog a dead horse but I offer up Gordie Howe/Bart Starr and cell stem injections. For mankind sake I hope she IS cured for decades at least. I remain cautiously pessimistic.

Post your death related links here

Interesting poem

Morbidkid, this is a thread for posting death related links. Why are you posting a link to a video of a poem about Dublin?

couldn't find the video thread so I posted here.

That's the internet equivalent of going to someone's house, utterly failing to find their lavatory, even though it was in a completely obvious place and just pissing over the kitchen floor instead.

A Guardian article on Lewy Body Dementia, the disease now getting more publicity because of Robin Williams:

As I said before, it could be that Greville Janner has it, because he has symptoms of both Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. I also believe that political protest climber Edwin Drummond has it, since he also suffers from hallucinations, among other things.

Is Edwin Drummond a real person? I thought The Living End made him up for a laugh.

Who knows... maybe he's planned it for many years. Maybe the secret to his success is that he creates online histories of virtual people, plants fake news reports, makes up interviews and creates cancer fundraisers years in advance. And then he lets these virtual people die whenever he needs it and keeps the donations. A devious plan with lots of benefits.

Nah, that was Phillip Drummond played by Conrad Adenauer.

He suffers from Parkinson's disease and cancer - hallucinations are one of the many possible symptoms of Parkinson's. Although Drummond is described as a 'visionary' poet and climber, so maybe he was seeing things before the illness kicked in.

I'll have you know he is so famous he was mentioned in the Wolverhampton Express and Star only eighteen months ago.
