Bibliogryphon 9,653 Posted April 21, 2015 The National Enquirer seems to be fixated on Cher at the moment. I have linked to a website which covers the story but it is essentially coming from the NE. I don't know what to believe. Is she ill or are the NE extrapolating from facts and coming to incorrect conclusions.

There are more singers who covered ''Louie Louie'' than I care to count, but his version was remarkable, if only because the FBI started a 31-month investigation to see if the song contained profanity and concluded they were "unable to interpret any of the wording in the record".

As it was mentioned by YoungWillz a mere 9 hours before your post. Whoosh. I'm debating the category. Whoosh He was a pop star. Pop music is short for "Popular Music" so the music he was performing was popular at the time he was at the height of his fame. Also if you were debating or questioning that Ben E. King should be included as a mention in this thread, perhaps you should include some punctuation. perhaps putting "Ben E King the pop star?" would make your debate a little clearer.
