BuffaloPhil 932 Posted April 22, 2021 Does Jim Steinman not count in this category? I know he was "only" a songwriter and producer but surely one of the most rockstar-ish, responsible for Bat Out Of Hell and Total Eclipse Of The Heart amongst many others. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-56825060

Earlier mentions in this thread include Hylda Baker, Liberace & Teddy Johnson, so he's well qualified.
Sir Creep 7,070 Posted April 22, 2021 Joe Long, the bassist for the iconic band the Four Seasons, died Thursday at age 88. Long had reportedly been recently struggling with COVID-19, but the cause of his death is unclear. Long joined the Four Seasons in 1965 after the band was looking to replace their original bassist, Nick Massi, who had been temporarily replaced by Charles Calello. Long recorded and performed with The Four Seasons throughout most of the mid-70s. SC
