Time for another soapstar superstar sweepstake; first pick to die wins;

I'll go for Eileen Derbyshire since she still hasn't returned to CS.

Masterlist

  1. Eileen Derbyshire  (Emily Bishop in CS) - Deathray
  2. Leah Bracknell (Zoe Tate in EE) - Toast
  3. Paula Tilbrook (Betty Eagleron EE) - Dead Wait
  4. Leonard Fenton (Dr Harold Legg EE) - Bibliogryphon
  5. Liz Dawn (Vera Duckworth CS) - Shaun of the Dead

From that list I would say it's between Liz and Len, but Sheila Mercier from Emmerdale can't last much longer surely. I think she's 98 now

Is that a nomination?

Re Masterlist

Leah Bracknell and Paula Tilbrook are from Emmerdale (ED) not Eastenders (EE)

I'll take Connie Sawyer, she played the Apartment Manager in an episode of Dynasty in 1982.

Rejected as I can't find any evidence he acted let alone starred in a soap. You may pick someone else.

Interestingly Sheila Mercier has outlived her real life husband brother and sister in law who were all considerably younger.She has also outlived her real life son and niece her on screen son (Clive Hornby) and two on screen husbands by a fair few years.

For some sporadic appearances.

She was in Emmerdale as the same character for 21 years!

Quite a difference......

Will go June Brown, 90, smokes like a chimney and is quite thin, wouldn't actually be my first choice but as others have gone.
