CaptainChorizo 1,998 Posted October 29, 2020 Magic Johnson(who is HIV Positive) is one of the Co-Owners of the La Dodgers who won the Baseball World Series Tuesday. He was on the field during the Trophy Celebration with a player who was later found out to have tested positive for Covid-19. That title could be a deadly one

COVID-19 is no more deadly for the vast majority of people with HIV than it is for any average "healthy" person, with the exception of those who are HIV+, and unaware of their positive status – hence they won't be on effective HIV meds and their CD4 cell count will be compromised, making their immune system vulnerable. harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy 1,709 Posted November 23, 2020 Not even Bob fucking Cousy has heard of Bob Cousy. Come on Bearer, man, get a grip and quash this pathetic proliferation (ohhh!) of pointless, preposterous (ooooohHHH!!) postifications peremptorially (OOOOOOOhhhh!!!). Old people of no news and even less interest. Cf Holbrook, Maranne, Dinkins, Harris, etc. It's vanity thread-creation. Sir Creep 7,072 Posted November 28, 2020 Damn this one hits home. My dad had season tickets to U-D basketball and Terry Duerod was probably my favourite player. He turned out to be a champ and a great role model. Former NBA guard Terry Duerod died Friday morning at the age of 64. He quietly battled leukemia for the past seven months, and was in hospice care for the last week. A 6’2″ guard, Duerod played college basketball under Dick Vitale at the University of Detroit. In four seasons at Detroit, Duerod scored 1,690 points, averaging 23.3 points per game during his senior season. Duerod spent 4 seasons in the NBA, and won the NBA title in 1980-1981 with the Boston Celtics. After his NBA career was over, Duerod transitioned to a new, nearly three-decade-long career as a firefighter in the city of Detroit. RIP SC
