Comrade Artemio (1961-) Last leader of the original Shining Path 1999-2012 after Ramirez's capture. IS-GS was active in Burkina Faso and neighbouring countries. It split from Al-Mourabitoun that was lead by Mokhtar Belmokhtar, often called "The One-Eyed" and "The Uncatchable" Al-Mourabitoun merged into Jama'at Nasr al-Islam wal Muslimin in 2017.
