Six 23 Posted October 11, 2006 Joseph Lynch ...[snip] ... he will be missed by the whole British population.... May your eyeballs disintegrate into your bowels slowly & horribly. I really don't think I'll miss him because I don't actually know who he is. I am one of the British population, so I think your statement is incorrect. I do like your imagination though. What an interesting image that sentence last provokes!
in eternum+ 22 Posted October 11, 2006 You sick f****r man in black, Joseph Lynch was a legend. How dare you say he doesn't deserve ranters about his death.I met him and I can tell you you sick twisto wankface that he will be missed by the whole British population. He stopped lots of people dying. I am disgusted that other ranters are not already on here crying & snashing teeth as they are for this Paul Hunter who ever he may be. Sick. They are, you are. Everyone is. May your eyeballs disintegrate into your bowels slowly & horribly. Ta. This has gotta be worth some points, surely! Quality ranting, JLR, absolute quality. Shame that attention was swayed elsewhere as a result of the multiplicitous and lesser-quality PH ranters. I'm sure Mr Lynch would be proud to have you amongst his small but effective contingent of ranters. Nice work, sailor!

Octopus of Odstock 2,194 Posted October 22, 2006 In that case the search is screwed as I checked before posting Search seems fine, as it brought up Phantom's original post in a millisecond. Blaming the tools sounds like a poor defence to me, Vinegar Tits, which is highly apt as you support Leeds United.
Paul Bearer 6,101 Posted October 22, 2006 (edited) Travel writer Eric Newby just carked aged 86, I'll post a link ASAP. link I'll put it in the other thread as well, I only put it here 'cos I'd never heard of him Edited October 22, 2006 by heaven can wait
Godot 149 Posted October 22, 2006 Travel writer Eric Newby just carked aged 86, I'll post a link ASAP. Thanks HCW but wrong thread. Newby was very famous. A Short walk in the Hindu Kush is a classic. Expect big obits in all the broadsheets. He's one we all missed.
Octopus of Odstock 2,194 Posted October 22, 2006 Re. Newby - Great shame. I always enjoyed his travel writing. Also won a MC for his war efforts. Another brave & talented man who probably won't get the mainstream coverage he deserves upon death, and just "sidelined" to the broadsheet obits.

Godot 149 Posted October 22, 2006 Robert Richenberg, the artist, died a few days ago, aged 89. Being a crap speller yet curious, I revisted this because I was really thinking of Robert Rauschenberg who doesn't seem to be dead. Now I'm confused. There is Rauschenberg who seems to be alive. But I can find nothing else about this bloke Richenberg. Apologies (if anybody cared, which I doubt), one reason I look at artists as possible deadpool picks. Tempus Fugit 214 Posted October 22, 2006 Sandy West, drummer with legendary all-girl band The Runaways, is not only battling lung cancer but has also been diagnosed with a brain tumour so it's looking a bit grim. *changed to correct cancer. Look, I've got a cold, ok? Sandy West died yesterday, that's another potential DDP selection gone. I wonder if she will get a UK obit.
