philheybrookbay 439 Posted March 17, 2018 Ever since the BBC left using the Met Office and moved to Meteo group the forecasts have been bloody awful. 8c at 3pm in Plymouth. Fat chance- Plymouth weather station was 8c overnight but the temp is now dropping away. Absolute pish.
TQR 14,385 Posted March 17, 2018 Help! Help! The Sun was right! The Beast from the East is here! I can't get outside to my car! Somebody help!
Boudicca 702 Posted March 17, 2018 Oh gosh how terrible, How on earth will you dig that out? Snow in the S.E and London is so much more awful (take it my snow is on the way then, but lucky me my recent XH stole my car last week!) I like waking anyway. Especially in snow / wind / rain. I'm not really cut out for the place.... It'll be like this by ten. And I would recommend a lower heeled if not actually flat boot if you really have to if you can't get outside to the car. High heels are packed away for now while these adverse conditions are blighting us.
Toast 16,130 Posted March 17, 2018 We have a light scattering, and snow is falling but in a "can't really be arsed" sort of way.

"Oh, I'm not sure I can be bothered, I can't cope" sort of wispy pathetic flakes. It was probably having a mental breakdown / anxiety attack at having to do some work for once. Toast 16,130 Posted March 18, 2018 Ours got the hang of it and snowed furiously all night, so today was a fun day for the kids after all.

Sir Creep 7,070 Posted April 3, 2018 The Santa Ana winds have arrived in west Texas. (20-30 mph constant) What you see there is sand. Fun to breathe, fun to eat, fun to stare at. Joey Russ 7,220 Posted April 7, 2018 It actually snowed in Oklahoma on April. It’s more of a sleet snow mix, but I didn’t expect any snow to fall during this part of the year. Fortunately, I doubt that anyone would go to the capital today since no legislators are there, and it’s supposed to be warming up later, but it still surprises me...
