DevonDeathTrip 2,348 Posted December 20, 2008 Struggling with your logic there, Banshees. Li Guoxing, who was one of the first people in the world to receive a face transplant has died. Actually, he died in July, but his death has only just been reported...maybe they didn't recognise the body.

BrunoBrimley 86 Posted December 21, 2008 James Bevel has died. Good. I was hoping that he would die earlier today so he could free a spot up. It worked out. A spot for what or who? You perhaps Barney? Quite honestly Barney if you plan to tell us about freeing up of spots, even yyour liver spots, then give us the details old man. We desire and demand-----neigh, require-----details, blooduy f...ing deathtails. You was once so good, you'd come here and tell of your latest dreams about people croaking, choking, even soaking (must not ever forget the drowner deaths) but now you leave little blibbits of odddness. Handrejka 1,899 Posted December 21, 2008 I hope this one is a wiki hoax. I met the man a few years ago when he came to the island to give a talk. He was very warm and witty. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adrian_Mitchell Edit - Only link so far seems to be from the Socialist Worker, which I trust less than wiki http://www.socialistworker.co.uk/art.php?id=16758

harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy 1,679 Posted December 24, 2008 Actor Paul Scofield is dead. Link to come... I'm not surprised. He didn't look too clever in Martin Chuzzlewit. Fine actor, big loss. Superb actor. Just saw the BBC tribute programme. The best thing about him was the not giving a f**k attitude; he turned down major parts to have a normal life with his family and his dogs, and he never cared a fig. Acting for its own sake and a normal life, that's the spirit. If only others would learn.
Octopus of Odstock 2,175 Posted December 25, 2008 Former captain of Burnley has died of brain cancer aged 49. Bugger - he was on my already submitted DDP team. Bad luck DDT - I must admit he was an excellent pick, although I am very sad he has gone - a true "blood & guts" footballer. I'm just switching to the DDP computer in a minute, so if you haven't done so already DDT, just let me know a new sub - your current sub is in the team. Death Impends 7,916 Posted December 25, 2008 Singer, dancer and actress Eartha Kitt has died at age 81 The "earth" part of her name stands out now. And it's also suitable that she died on Christmas, considering "Santa Baby".
Cowboy Ronnie 78 Posted December 25, 2008 Singer, dancer and actress Eartha Kitt has died at age 81 One of (I believe) three women to play Catwoman on the Batman TV show form the 60's. She also enjoyed a revival of sorts in the late 1990's when hers was the recorded voice encouraging passengers to buckle up whenever they boarded a New York city taxi.
