Jens Jørgen Hansen, who won four Danish titles with Esbjerg fB between 1961 and 1965, has died aged 82.

Also won the Danish Cup in 1964 and was part of the Danish squad that finished 4th at Euro 64 when it was still a tournament of only four teams in 39 caps for the national side.

East Fife and Wigan Athletic alum Ron McIvor reportedly dead:

Couldn’t find anything else online but East Fife FC announced it via FB on 28th December so he must’ve died around or just after Christmas.

Former Villa player and cup winner Peter McParland popped up at HT in some sort of montage thing  Looked very well for a man turning 88 in April

Must admit I thought that myself will easily be the last surviving player left from the 1957 Fa Cup final only him and Sir Bobby Charlton left. Also some barge into goalie Ray Wood, would probably be done for assault nowadays, certainly a different era.

Shebby Singh, Malaysian footballer of the 1980s, dead at 61. Normally wouldn't post someone as insignificant as that, but he had a second arc of fame when he became "global advisor" to Venky's during their slapstick takeover of Blackburn Rovers a decade ago. Too many highlights to post, but let's go with Shebby's disastrous appearance on "606".

Mercilessly mocked by Rovers fans during the dark days, his death has actually been met with some sadness round these parts. He was seen as the one who ended the first "basket case" phase of the Venkys ownership (played a big part in Steve Kean's belated removal) though it took a few more years and another relegation before our recovery could really begin.

Probably doesn't hurt the reappraisal that he's died at just 61, no age really. The Lancashire Telegraph reports he's believed to have suffered a heart attack while out cycling.

Paul Hinshelwood, Crystal Palace stalwart and twice capped for England under 21's back in the day, has died, aged 65.

Apparently he was very ill for over a year according to a Palace fan who saw it on a forum post. Note to self: Read more fans forum posts

Club Icon of Dynamo Dresden, Dixie Dörner, who accumulated 100 appearances for East Germany, dead at 70:

I seem to remember some health rumours. Cause of death was a "long and heavy illness".

I suppose this fits this thread: "Super agent" Mino Raiola had emergency surgery in Milan: https://www.sportface.it/calcio/mino-raiola-operato-durgenza-al-san-raffaele-condizioni-delicate/1617260

Edit: He has denied it being an emergency on twitter:

Bild are claiming it was a lot more serious than originally reported (intensive care) but he's showing slight signs of improvement.
