The defender played his club football for numerous clubs in his homeland as well as clubs in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Ukraine and retired in 2010. He played 37 games for the Turkmenistan national team, scoring once in an 11-0 win over Afghanistan in 2006 World Cup qualifying.
