diego 1,833 Posted November 22, 2023 Lothar Buchmann was born in Breslau and died on 21/Nov aged 87 in Reichelsheim, Hesse, he played for Mainz 05 and Eintracht Bad Kreuznach in the first division Oberliga Südwest, where he played in 191 matches, scoring 49 goals between 1955 and 1963. After the introduction of the Bundesliga in the 1963–64 season, he joined second division clubs Regionalliga Südwest and Süd Wormatia Worms and VfR Bürstadt. In 131 league matches he scored 26 goals. In the Bundesliga he managed Darmstadt 98, VfB Stuttgart, Eintracht Frankfurt, Kickers Offenbach and Karlsruher SC between 1978 and 1985. He was a member of the 1966–67 Yugoslav First League title-winning team, Jesenković became a football manager, starting as a coach with the Sarajevo youth team in 1977; a role he maintained for most of his coaching career. diego 1,833 Posted November 23, 2023 Rubens Minelli was born in São Paulo and died at the age of 94. He won four Brazilian titles with Palmeiras, Inter (2) and São Paulo. He was admitted to hospital on the 24th of last month to treat an infection. He underwent antibiotic treatment, but the problem progressed and he couldn't resist. Death was confirmed at around 12:44 pm. He also managed clubs such as Grêmio, Corinthians, Atlético-MG, Santos, Portuguesa, Sport, Paraná, Ponte Preta and Coritiba, in addition to Al-Hilal, from Saudi Arabia. Santi Gutiérrez Calle was a man who took his work very seriously. Thanks to his work, 112 youth players were professional footballers. I talked to him several times. Well, when I knew him, I have to admit I felt a little scared but otherwise respect. He was a man of few words and great humility. Santi was very considerate of others. He is best known for his years at Maccabi Haifa, where he began his football career as well as coaching. Menchel is widely considered one of the best Haifa players to ever wear the green shirt, he also coached the team. Fergie86 358 Posted November 26, 2023 Sad news, Terry was arguably England’s greatest international manager since Sir Alf way back in 1966, if we had got to the final back in 1996 I’m sure we would have won it but as usual with England we were so near but so far away, he probably left too early as well but it was decided so far in advance he was leaving that it was never likely he would stay past Euro 96. Terry certainly got around in his playing and managerial career even if he didn’t win as much as he should of done he certainly fitted a lot into his life with his business interests too, a life well lived a true character and a one off.
