RoverAndOut 4,770 Posted June 2, 2024 Wonder how much she'll be able to funnel from Murdoch into Putin's war machine? Vlad needs all the pennies he can get his hands on at the moment.
Sod's Law 492 Posted June 2, 2024 I hope the photographer who took that picture suffers the curse of a thousand Egyptian pharaohs for putting that image in my worst nightmares tonight.
dimreaper 831 Posted October 6, 2024 https://www.theguardian.com/media/2024/sep/16/rupert-murdoch-succession-court-nevada Photographed two weeks ago entering court over a legal battle with several of his children over the fate of his media empire. I'm not noticing a decline, and he also made an appearance at the Republican National Convention in July. I personally don't anticipate adding him to my own shadow list until '26. I forgot he is as old as he is... I agree he does not look to being close to his death bed, but at this age one can keel over with a heart attack as well.

gcreptile 11,301 Posted Wednesday at 01:56 Doesn't give the vibes of death yet, but had to be on the list. And things can happen, at that age.

livingbygrace 530 Posted Wednesday at 04:40 For myself between Soros and Murdoch I feel it is a complete coin toss who might go first.. I feel the same way between Vera Miles and Tippi Hedren I have no clue who might go first
Superstar 303 Posted Wednesday at 07:52 Murdoch seems like one of those celebrities who will be perfectly healthy and appearing in public but then he would randomly die suddenly by tripping down the stairs or falling off his bed, like Joe Lieberman and Christopher Plummer

He was old so not a 100% a shocker, but I loved The Sound of Music, so whenever anyone dies from the movie it's sad for me. Though I guess it was known that Plummer himself hated the movie

It's actually a miracle (or the polar opposite depending on your point of view) that he's even able to get out of bed and function by now with his history. He's more like a real life Mr. Burns. So many things have lined up to kill this man that none of them can succeed.
lilham 782 Posted Wednesday at 15:39 Murdoch keeps talking about himself like he's immortal; ie, saying delusional things like, “We’re both looking forward to spending the second half of our lives together,” when he got engaged last year. The extreme denial makes me think he will go soon.
Brad252 859 Posted Wednesday at 20:36 Whenever Murdoch's funeral is, the burial will be very difficult for everyone there, because they'll be a long line of politicians (across a large part of the political spectrum) busy trying to break into the coffin to kiss his arse.
