I went for Sharon, I think Wendy has quite a few months left in her.

Susan Atkins; the less time that I have to worry about my joker carking it the better. Plus it's not exactly like she's someone that will be widely mourned...

Her illness was covered by the International Herald Tribune. That and, given how many other far less notable people managed obits last year, it should happen.

I'm going with the majority on this one - Susan it is.

Call it wishful thinking, because it is, but I voted Nancy Reagan.

Fidel Castro, who has not been seen in public since undergoing surgery for an undisclosed intestinal ailment 2-1/2 years ago, was not expected to attend, officials said

I voted for Fidel but fear he may have slipped one past DL - a "got his clogs of state off for the final time a year or two back and is now propped up in a corner by those anxious to maintain the regime" sort of scenario ..........................

I'll get my coat.

Still too hung over to choose.

But it would be nice to beat last year's score.

Probably Susan Atkins - if she is as ill as everybody says she is.

I'll take a shot on Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi; although it could very well be Atkins.

I didn't want to pick someone on my DDP so I didn't pick Atkins or Wisdom, went for Ted Kennedy

To quote Rudyard Kipling, it's "Special Train for Atkins".

<---- Sharon, on the face of it has to be favorite, but then I know very little about this Atkins woman.

Atkins, the only reason she isn't my DDP joker is that Llewellyn is another cert to fill a coffin and his UK media coverage is assured if only because the Daily Mail and he had a long-lasting love affair in his partying days.
