thefunkyfaz 51 Posted March 18, 2009 The original Darth Vader has prostate cancer http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol...icle5925998.ece I thought this could be one to watch (and to be obit-worthy). I.m Sorry, was a little bit to quick to respond. I should have read the article and known that he he is getting better. I find your lack of faith disturbing... The Final Curtain 0 Posted March 19, 2009 Prostate cancer is never a surefire bet anyway. It can take years to fully kick in
randomranter 1 Posted June 11, 2009 Vote Vader "Dave Prowse MBE is a true Bristolian! From "Darth Vader" to the "Green Cross Code Man" you cannot deny that his film and television achievements and his devotion to charity work should be recognised by his home city of Bristol. Morecambe has Eric Morecambe, Leicester Square has Charley Chaplin. Bristol should have Dave as VADER!" http://www.moss247.com/vote-vader-2-w.asp
weasel 2 Posted June 14, 2009 I never knew what the guy looked like until now. Geeeeeeeeez, he always had that halloween mask on.

Sean 6,309 Posted January 1, 2017 Seems like one of the only bad picks to me.Apparently doesn`t have dementia an his prostate cancer has been in remission for years.Having said that he has serious arthritis and giants tend not to live to great ages. Also he announced recently he wasn`t travelling abroad for conventions anymore.Maybe the committee know more about that. gcreptile 10,963 Posted January 1, 2017 Yes, agree, the worst new pick. I guess the committee doesn't want to miss the next Star Wars death.
The Mad Hatter 1,092 Posted January 1, 2017 I disagree I think he is a good pick he has had so much brushes with death and is too frail to attend conventions.
drol 11,883 Posted January 1, 2017 Ridicolous pick who will score.
Joey Russ 7,220 Posted January 1, 2017 Ridicolous pick who will score. Like Peter O'Toole in 2013.
Bibliogryphon 9,562 Posted January 22, 2017 There are a good number of likely hits. David Prowse and Sandy Gall look like the sorts of picks who you might um and ah about adding in but if they go you feel but if they were left off an went you would be thinking Patrick Moore all over again. MDavidSteel 15 Posted February 11, 2017 The two on our list for this year who've we've lost so far are right next to each other by some chance (i mean, the chances of that are slim in a list of 50 people) p.s is there a section to post our own personal deathlists (i like to make my own each year, too)

MDavidSteel 15 Posted February 12, 2017 well in regards to David Prowse, I get mixed up, but I'm guessing he was the man in the vader suit and the guy who did the voice, is the one who died a few years back

WholfOfTheDead 23 Posted February 28, 2017 My grandfather used to be a bouncer at a club and David Prowse worked there too. They called him "Darth Farmer" because of his Bristolian/western british accent.
