Lady Die 63 Posted September 23, 2005 If that's looking "fine" I wouldn't want to see him looking ill.
maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted September 23, 2005 If you'd seen them hours before they died I think John Peel and Tommy Vance would have looked better than Walker does in his picture. Then again, ever since his first cancer scare he's looked thin and drawn. He did almost die so it's understandable. Not aware that he's in immediate danger at the moment. Phantom 2,533 Posted January 31, 2006 Johnny Walker was doing fine when he introduced John Otway at the London Palladium a couple of years ago.
Paul Bearer 6,101 Posted January 25, 2019 Doesn't look too bad. Only needs a heart upgrade.
TQR 14,391 Posted January 25, 2019 Tiggy Walker gave an update and a pic of him on Twitter earlier. Not too much of a cause for concern; he's back in March and doesn't look overly fucked out.
Octopus of Odstock 2,195 Posted January 25, 2019 Meanwhile the Johnny Walker that means the most to me, died earlier this week aged 90. Captain of Reading football club for ages.

An excellent time to post this to Walker's thread. And also to campaign for the thread title to be corrected from Johnny to Johnnie. 1

At first I put it down to the acoustics out of the studio but his wife Tiggy sounded quite bright. For future (though not too far distant) consideration I'm slowly edging towards him being on my Poker Tourney team.
YoungWillz 21,044 Posted January 2, 2021 So, he's on Pointless Celebrities later if anyone has the energy to watch. Mind you I never know what is a repeat and what is new with that programme now.

Philheybrookbay1 247 Posted June 10 Quite the interview on Jeremy Vine. Severely ill, but more concerned for carers and his wife. Worth a listen, he's very breathless with lung disease. Sounds pretty sad and he won't ever leave home alive again.
