I could; do you mean will ? Is it your account?

Edit: Just Googled it; I guess it isn't.

The how to guide to make the perfect pink lemonade.

What has this to do with how to do things on this site?
its called the death list HOWTO and i am showing you how to make pink lemonade

Stumbled across this looking for something else. Missed it at the time. The combination of clueless, passive aggression, and unintended comic timing makes this my new favourite post ever.

Haven't laughed that long at a Deathlist thing since the Albert Hoffman tribute translation.

Well you have to get the laughs where you can nowdays, DL has been a bit barren for sometime now, apart from Lardy.

PS: Im not saying Lardy isn't barren, she is probably still fertile and not all dried up yet.........

I've mentioned it before, but this.

First seen in 2008, laughed myself hoarse, showed it to my wife, and then, next day, I woke up to find she'd printed off a copy of the original post and sellotaped it to the fridge door.

If he drinks, booze.

If he doesn't drink, something else he likes.

If it's your dad a visit from social services to take you off him.

I'm guessing your dad's about 32, so I'd get him some go-faster stripes for his Honda Civic, a bottle of Jaeger and some rubber johnnies.

A set of golf clubs.

St Andrews

Royal Dornoch

Muirfield

Turnberry

Carnoustie

A bit pricey to buy the full set though.

If he drinks, a strong bottle of booze (get your mum to get it, or pop into whatever shady shop you buy your own) and a book (with lots of pictures in it on a subject he's interested in (maybe karma sutra or a football book). That or kitchen equipment if he lives on his own.

OK guys, seriously (except for those of you who were serious, you're golden)....

I'm not a dad but I'm a 50 year old mom who had a couple of dads, so I have some experience. :D

I figured out early on that the gifts aren't the thing - gifting your parents is the one time that it really is the thought that counts. I'm assuming you're on a budget. Without knowing what your budget is, what your dad likes, and what shit goes for outside Texas and California I don't have specific recommendations, but you can plan a day with your dad focusing on the things he likes even if you hate them. You can do a chore for him to get it off his back. You can clean his car. If he's a connoisseur of something like cheese, whisky or wine you can get him that - they usually come in small sizes. Is there anywhere around you that has tastings of anything he might like? Or ask him, unless he's like my dad was and likely to say "Stack of $100 bills this high," which led me to give him a stack of play money one year. Ironically, that was the best gift I think I ever gave him. Magazine subscription? Book? Sears Craftsman 40-piece socket set? Is his toolbox rusted through? Cook dinner for the two of you and discuss your future?

The possibilities are endless, as is my imagination, apparently. Good luck.
