A sickening amount of these cases are murderers who were let out to murder again. In my opinion a first degree murder conviction should at the very least result in life imprisonment without parole. Given 15 years 13 years ago but with remand time etc... Worth mentioning for two reasons. Firstly, the conspiracy theory on this case hasn't totally gone away and George's release might well kick start it with attendant press coverage and the like. Secondly, he was a 16 year old in care at the time of the murder and may - just - be one of those so woefully unable to survive outside prison he'll be back on our radar as potential points.
