Swayze. He has 100% of the vote so far! All the others will live for years to come. Mr Lockerbie Bomber will have a new lease of life back home, be elected the next Libyan President and enrol Ronnie Biggs as his Chancellor.

Ludovic Kennedy.

Mainly because when I was at work yesterday I thought I heard his death being announced on the radio. Obviously a false alarm...

Oscar's got my vote this time. He has sort of slipped under the radar, but at his age he may go at any moment.

In 2009 it's generally been the DL ones who've gone quiet in the news. So Betty Ford.

Thatcher! A million nineteen eighties dreams come true. Ps Why has the main list failed to spot the demise of Robert Novak?

Switched this round from Biggs to Swayze, thus clearing the way for Biggs to actually die. <_<

Goodbye George Steinbrenner.

I base this on the past facts of history for The New York Yankees. Whenever the Yankees are having a good season-as they are this year----there is some sort of healthy crisis or death directly connected to the team. Remembere when former manager Joe Torre's brother Frank had the heart transplant? Yankees won the world series. Strawberry had cancer? Yankees won the series.

Yes, Steinbrenner will die and the Yankees will win the World Series for the first time this century and begin the next leg of their legacy journey.
