Stuart Pollock, the last surviving Irish cricketer to play before WWII, has died aged 96. After retiring from playing, he went on to be President of the Irish Cricket Union.

John Hampshire has died aged 76. The Yorkshire CCC President was a former test umpire as well as a batsman for Yorks. & England.
