Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh

Recommended Posts

As a total anti-royalist I’ve got to say PLEASE Racist-Phil do NOT die tomorrow (it’s the anniversary my dad died and I would hate him to share it with this chinless parasite...).

Or, on a lighter note, the things people do to get out of a wedding!

My Dad had bladder surgery at 91 and came through all right-  they said it took a bit longer than normal for him to wake up though-  this article says it's a good idea to have it now, so he can deal with that wedding in May: https://news.sky.com/story/prince-philip-surgery-sensible-ahead-of-royal-wedding-11315952

He's a tough old bird- Still, bears watching-

Doubt he'll be walking by May? Surely if it was a planned operation, it would have been organized better?  Needs a few months physio? Ah well, might be funny seeing  the old codger stumble, and watching the look on the guests faces?

There are signs that not all  has  gone as planned. They should have announced hours ago that hi s operation was a complete success but as yet there is no word. Could this be the week of big deaths ?

It’s just been announced that the op was a success and Philip is in good spirits.

I watched the Commonwealth games opening ceremony this morning/afternoon and I'm starting to think Philip will outlive Charles!

Didn't watch the ceremony so can't comment on today but Prince Charles looks awful for a man of 69 considering the lifestyle he has had and all the medical benefits he has obviously had.

I think he is a sad guy, in fact pretty miserable- that can definitely make you look old- and also age you

Charles should grow a beard. He'd get more respect if he went full King Lear.

Uughh.. reminds me of an old article in Der SPIEGEL, how Charles was suspected to be gay because he wanted to be Camilla's tampon.

To be fair you'd be depressed if you were Charles as well. Well past retirement age and your main career is still a pipe dream.

He won't be king anytime soon either, if the Queen lives as long as the Queen Mother, Charles will be in his early 80's, he will probably be dead before the Queen dies.

"Princess Anne has visited her father, the Duke of Edinburgh, at a London hospital as he recovers from his hip replacement operation.

The Princess Royal spent about 50 minutes in the hospital and afterwards said her father was "on good form".

She is the first family member to visit Prince Philip since he had the planned procedure at the private King Edward VII's Hospital on 4 April."

None of the family visited for over a week!  Don't know what to make of that.  Maybe he told them not to come.

I wouldn't be surprised if he had prostate cancer that has spread to his bones. He kept getting bladder infections and now needs an operation on his hip.

Anyhow still think he'll see 2019.

Charlie and Edward are both off the hook because they have been touring around various parts of Australia. Harry's probably too busy shagging Meghan.
