arghton 7,147 Posted October 11, 2024 Finland's by far most notable auctioneer, "auction emperor" Aki Palsanmäki has been diagnosed with lung cancer and will undergo emergency surgery today. I visited his auction house in Hirvaskangas six or seven years ago. It was raining and there were probably around two hundred people there, I was standing in the rain trying to get a glimpse of the guy.
