Fuck, what ever happened to Bob Mills?

The last time I saw him, he was the size of a baby hippo.

I remember watching that series, seems like a life time ago.

Mike Bullard, a Canadian talk show host and comedian whose career was derailed after stalking allegations were made by his ex-girlfriend, has died. He was 67. Bullard hosted "Open Mike...with Mike Bullard" from 1997 to 2003, on CTV. A later effort on Global TV lasted 13 weeks. Bullard, a stand-up comic by trade and former radio personality, was accused by ex-girlfriend, reporter Cynthia Mulligan, of stalking. Bullard pleaded guilty to one charge of criminal harassment. Mulligan has also battled stage 4 breast cancer.

Metastatic breast cancer. Initially, she was to be put in palliative care only, but then they decided to fight it after all.

Had clear scans, but cancer has now returned

Doesn't say how bad it's returned, so while the initial sign is not ideal... Her history makes it slightly more likely than usual that it may be treatable.

Yes, definitely slightly thinner. It looks quite early stage Parkinsons as he's not shaking much and his speech is still ok. Unlikely that he's in any imminent danger I would say.

I’m seeing reports that the great Spanish presenter Don Francisco has died. Can anyone confirm?

Recall he had an eating disorder in the 70s/80s as well.

Parkinsons not a good illness.

By coincidence a former colleague of mine had a benign brain tumour removed last year. She was severely crippled by the operation, to the point of being unable to walk or speak for several months and only slowly started getting movement back with assistance. She died last month, a year after the operation, although it sounds like it was still unexpected, so must have been an unforeseen complication.

While no two cases will ever be the same, even being cleared of a brain tumour can still have a poor prognosis.

My neighbour has a benign slow growing brain tumour and it's been there for many years. All she's been advised is to have it monitored and not removed.
