Found this little gem:

Here's a list of 33 constituencies, in rank order. What do they have in common in election 2015?

Cambridge

Dunfermline and West Fife

Erewash

East Dunbartonshire

Rutherglen and Hamilton West

Newry and Armagh

Wolverhampton South West

St Helens South and Whiston

East Lothian

St Austell and Newquay

West Dunbartonshire

Falkirk

Brentford and Isleworth

Taunton Deane

Motherwell and Wishaw

Wirral West

Manchester, Withington

Norwich South

Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey

Cardiff Central

Glasgow North East

Fermanagh and South Tyrone

Brent Central

City of Chester

Cannock Chase

Enfield North

Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath

Telford

Dudley South

Cheadle

Edinburgh West

Glasgow Central

Bristol West

Constituencies with new MPs, ie the member of parliament elected in 2015 hasn't been an MP before?

St Helens South and Whiston is the constituency I grew up in, though it was just St Helens South then. It's very, very Labour. You could probably put a red rosette on Jimmy Savile's corpse and he'd still be elected.

They all definitely have new MPs, whether all first timers I cannot say; my answer has a little more DL twist to it.

Is it to do with heart disease then? Most Glasstowners are fatties. Or where you're most likely to be murdered, St Helens tends to come near the top there too. It must be the accent.

The new MP is older than the previous one? I'm guessing that because of the amount of Scottish seats listed - some of the new SNP MPs aren't exactly in the flush of youth.

(I'll get a team in by the end of June btw)

Didn't get round to getting a list together this past weekend. For a moment I thought that I had missed the deadline, but at least I have until the end of this month.

Indeed you do but I am worrying the first by-election may end up being called before the start of the game.

Though if legal proceedings are involved it may drag it out a bit.

Thankfully it's quiet at work today, so far I've been able to get half my list together.

One thing that I am enjoying is see the constituency names next to the Politician.

Is it too late to submit a team ?

Some excellent guesses.

The answer, I am to understand, is that all the elected MPs in these constituencies were OLDER than the person they replaced. Very nice beginners list for DL interests, as they have a head start, as it were.

(Edit: DDT in fact guessed correctly :-)

Yes please do and there are more MPs not selected than selected so plenty of possible uniques.

I am itching to share all the statistics and quirks but don't want to disadvantage anyone. I will just have to wait until the end of the month.

If any sitting (or former) MPs have dropped by (Repeat do not Google your own name) then I won't hold it against you and you would be allowed to play.

Well, you never know, the DDP is meant to have had a fair few famous names play in it over the years. One of whom, I seem to recall, who found his own name in the game, and then submitted a team for the next year! All anonymous of course, and TMIB is far too gentlemanly to let us know Spade actually is Dave Quantick.

I've only ever seen one scene from SlapShot. Can you guess what it is?
