Why not in Orange jumpsuit? Suits his punchable face well

He is the same colour as the jumpsuit.  He would be invisible if he was wearing it

He looks like every single Scooby Doo villain.

Let me introduce you to his cartoon doppelganger, Simon Bar Sinister from 'Underdog'.

You guys can laugh all you want but it was tremendous. The greatest mugshot in history. Everyone agrees. People were amazed. A guy came up to him in the Sheriff's Office, big guy, strong guy, with tears in his eyes, and said he's never seen anything like it. People couldn't believe it, it was so amazing.

I mean, with the freaks of nature that you often find in these threads, sometimes it’s hard to tell…

This from an article in the Guardian made me smile:

“Trump is 77”. Right, so touch and go if he’d still be around to see out this kind of sentence, then?

Okay, it's not where the BBC would go but am I missing summat - you just don't hear American political commentators considering that Trump is that old, overweight, not living the healthiest lifestyle and is leading the Republicans the way a mafia don leads his organisation. If and when the likely health crisis event - he's cruising for a heart attack or stroke, surely - hits him the GOP is in a metaphorical Shit Creek/no paddle situation, many of the big hitters having banked on staying in with Trump in the hope of a high-end job in his next administration.

Very true, mind that’s why we’re seeing the beginnings of a few other prominent Republicans in a race to out-disgusting each other. Ramaswamy, De Santis etc. They’re all a far cry from the John McCain type Repub we saw just a few elections ago.

Hell yeah, and also pandering to an electorate for whom the central core are ageing and white - leaving the middle ground to the Democrats. Can't help thinking there'll be major ructions soon because neither party can rely on long-term leadership from candidates born in the 1940s.

Trump and Biden are clearly both to old.If Trump became president again at the end of his term he would be 82 and Biden would be 86. As has been said Trump is overweight and has a poor diet and is under a hell of a lot of stress with all his criminal charges.Biden on the other hand has had 2 brain haemorrhages and has had a few senior moments indicating he is past his prime already at 80.

The amount of senior politicians over 75 is ridiculous. In the senate you have Feinstein and McConnell who both wouldn't look out of place in a nursing home. You also have Grassley and Sanders and John Fetterman who although only young seems seriously compromised by the stroke he suffered.

Then you have Maxine Waters , Nancy Pelosi , Jerry Nadler , Grace Napolitano ,Steny Hoyer and others who are all past it.

It's really the lack of alternatives which is the shocking thing. Post-Hilary, the Democrats were so low on candidates Biden had to come out of retirement essentially. And he probably remains their best choice of the realistic candidates, despite being a decade too old for the role. There was just no real post-Clinton generation in that party, and Obama just covered over the cracks when it should have given them extra time to find folk.

Whereas the Republicans are finding out what the Tories (and Blair's Labour) did before. If you narrow your candidates for office to the nth degree, you have a shallow and unconvincing pool of talent for the top job.

If you’re charged with financial fraud, what’s the best thing you can do for yourself?

Yep, it’s admit on your socials that there are huge discrepancies between your financial statements and reality.

So that's on his own social media network where his most ardent admirers are gathered - not much support when that screen-shot was taken, how long had it been up?

Did I just hear that, in the same sentence, he condemned Joe Biden for being cognitively impaired and that Biden could lead America into World War Two?

I almost spat out my late night coffee, followed by bwahahahahahaha!

Seeing his decades long "legacy" be destroyed by his offspring would definitely be a joy to see; however, I wouldn't rule out Jr. being chosen solely because of his name if such a thing were to happen
