Yeah, sounds fair.

Seems to have been missed in the McCain mayhem - at least, couldn't find anything through the search bar - but former Republican member of the US House of Reps for Connecticut, Lawrence DeNardis, died on Aug 24th, at age 80.

Also, we've just missed the 76th birthday of former Tory MP John Carlisle.

The man who thought apartheid worked in South Africa and is on record as describing Nelson Mandela as a terrorist.

Lest we forget...

Frank Field can't handle the antisemitism in the Labour Party anymore and is resigning the whip. Interesting little side note: he was one of the 36 MPs that originally nominated Jeremy Corbyn for the leadership.

At 76 years old he must have been Jew to retire soon anyway?

Yeah, I'm kind of waiting as well. Picked him several times in something. Though currently only at the bottom of my Windy City Deadpool team.

Edit: He's part of that group of immortals from the subcontinent, with Sri Sri Sri, M Karunanidhi and Dilip Kumar.

Dilip Kumar hospitalized for a chest infection, but family says he's recovering.

In 2008, Georgia led a small war to re-conquer Abkhazia and hoped that NATO would come to its aid. But they didn't because they didn't want to face Putin over this. The whole action was a bit kamikaze from then-president Saakashvili.
