Well at least there's nothing worse than Balkan folk music :) but it's not OK for someone to say "I've got a good taste in music". Music taste is up to the individual, you can't say classical music is tasteful but someone else will, same goes for everything. I enjoy some classical tunes, Elvis, MJ, 80's stuff, Britney, Cesaria Evora and lots of things that simply can't be placed in the same basket. There's no human who can tell me that what I listen to is not tasteful. I just enjoy music whatever style I like and don't give a /s h i t/ what anybody thinks about that. All you need is a spine outside cyber space.

Just to name a few:

Lady Gaga -

Shakira -

Limahl -

Pet Shop Boys -

Peter Sarstedt

Aqua -

Cliff Richard -

Doris Day -

Laura Brannigan -

Aha, now there is one that I am definitely embarrassed about. Never could stand Limahl, and it's from a kids' film, but I do love that song.

Love the PSBs but not keen on that cover.

I like Lady Gaga, and I wouldn't apologise for Laura Branigan either.

Look here, it's a free world and I guess anyone can enjoy whatever they like so long as it doesn't harm anyone else, but don't think you can escape criticism. Barbie Girl? You've spoken volumes about yourself.

I'm pretty open about my naff taste in music. I love Boney M and not in a guilty pleasure way either.

However, I will deny all knowledge that I once danced happily to Teenage Dirtbag and enjoyed it.

Trio and Error - Trio (the whole gdamn album)

Bulletproof - La Roux (just put it on an endless loop)

Technotronic - again, whole album, but the hits primarily Pump Up the Volume / This Beat is Technotronic etc

F*** The Pain Away/Downtown/etc - Peaches (seeing as GCR brought her up the other day, I actually like a few of her mindless songs)

All best listened to on my Beats and not publicized.

I should list a pile of songs I absolutely love and have listened to no less than 100x but have no clue what the lyrics are. Now THAT'S embarrassing! Maybe I'm just shite at remembering lyrics.

Listen to What I Bought On EBay - Wierd Al Yankovic and you'll never hear Back Street Boys song the same again.

Currently I am very fond of cheesy 80s pop like

- Samantha Fox - Touch me (I want your body)

- Sabrina - Boys Boys Boys

- Stéphanie (of Monaco) - Irresistible

- Den Harrow - Don't break my heart

- Nick Kamen - Each time you break my heart

- Bananarama - Love in the first degree

- Aneka - Japanese Boy

I'm very sorry, but I do love them all!!!

Out shopping in Morrisons for some pickled herring, I happened to go down the entertainment aisle and perused the 'chart albums' rack. Elvis Presley, Michael Ball, Rick Astley, Bradley Walsh, Phil Collins...what is going on?

Morrisons aren't silly, they do know their customer demographic. Yoofs don't buy Snoop Dogg albums in a supermarket.

It's actually the 'official' chart not just Morrison's.

I'm not overly fixated on the demographic. As long as they keep out the Leopard Seals it's fine by me.
