Gooseberry Crumble 5,335 Posted January 16, 2018 With the news announced earlier that Hollywood legend Jane Fonda is recovering from cancer surgery on her lip and the fact she turned 80 last year. I felt the time was right to give Jane her own thread on this forum. Whilst this particular health issue at this time seems to be something the doctors are likely to keep on top of.She is now definitely someone to keep an eye on. 1

Joey Russ 7,212 Posted January 16, 2018 Well, if she does die, that’ll be a miss for my counterculture theme team, which might once again get the big bagel this year just like my drummers theme last year...
theoldlady 2,285 Posted January 16, 2018 Very common words when one reads blogs connected to any article with Jane Fonda`s name in it are: «can`t wait to piss on her grave after she dies». Her family should probably go for cremation and/or burial at sea when the time comes.

Bentrovato 1,084 Posted January 16, 2018 Just looked up lip cancer and the first result says it is "most frequently occurring in fair-skinned males over the age of 50". Makes me wonder what sort of hormonal based beauty treatment she uses to stay looking good at 80. https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjV55yA89zYAhVLBsAKHSoOD9IQFggnMAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.skincancer.org%2Fskin-cancer-information%2Flip-cancer-not-uncommon&usg=AOvVaw2Y-iIXLsjKlJjuHD7oBxXD

That might be because she has spent a shit load of money on plastic surgery and has had the money to have afforded the best health care, food, lifestyle and, probably, a personal trainer for the last 20 years. This is another example of celebrities going under the knife umpteen times to present an image that 99% of people in REAL LIFE cannot get close to but have the 'oh she looks fab!!! bollocks rammed down their throats to the point where some actually start to believe that something is wrong with them. I'm a bit shocked .He was on twitter just a few days ago slagging off Donald Trump. I even sent him a tweet about it but I don't suppose he ever saw it. RIP Peter !

Sometimes just sometimes award committees who decide on who gets a lifetime achievement award give them to notable people who they are worried may only have a few years left and want to make sure they acknowledge them in time....
