Sir Creep 7,070 Posted March 25, 2023 Lana Del Rey dropped a new album yesterday, and despite all the music, there is this addition — which is all that the music industry is/will be talking about for the next week. Month. All of 2023.
TQR 14,396 Posted March 27, 2023 The thing with the Kill or Save game is that each round gives a new earworm. This round’s earworm for me:
En Passant 3,741 Posted March 27, 2023 I can live with earworms of things I like. The alternative though.... edit: crt tv's and vhs tapes though, omg that dates it.

TQR 14,396 Posted May 3, 2023 This came up on my playlist. 2nd best chart topper of the 90s according to some weird poll somewhere. Good to listen to it again before I go through the 60s list when I get home and most probably fall out of love with music.

Sir Creep 7,070 Posted May 4, 2023 @Phantom would like this. At the charity shop I found the Webb Pierce album (see awesome album cover below) that had ‘Alla My Love’ (reached #5) on it (along with I’m in the Jailhouse Now) but didn’t buy it. Instead the guy next to me did, and I got to hear a story about him parking Tennessee Ernie Ford’s car for him and singing at a local Hawaii pub with him.

Husker Du:- Tonite Longhorn A few months ago I was working alongside Greg Norton as his new band Ultrabomb had their album release show. I didn't recognize him at all.
TQR 14,396 Posted May 11, 2023 For my money, Nothing But Thieves are one of the best bands to have come out of the last decade.
prussianblue 1,035 Posted May 12, 2023 Pet Shop Boys have been uploading remastered versions of their old videos in the run-up to the release of their complete singles compilation album Smash (55 tracks!). One I hadn't seen/heard before but love is Flamboyant (2003):
