Gooseberry Crumble 5,321 Posted February 3, 2020 I came across a news article tonight about Al Pacino losing his balance and falling over on the red carpet at the BAFTA film awards in London tonight. Not a serious fall but possibly a sign or pointer he is ailing. I went to post it on an Al Pacino thread to find to my surprise that there is not one! So I decided to start one especially as he both getting on in age and undoubtedly iconic in popular culture and film history. https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/10876393/bafta-al-pacino-falls-over/
msc 18,379 Posted February 3, 2020 Yeah he fell and needed help getting back up, but was in his seat for the show. Not in danger, but all these A-listers of that generation are getting up in age now.
Banana 859 Posted February 3, 2020 I almost got him confused with Al Pacino, the biophysicist

Not in danger, but all these A-listers of that generation are getting up in age now. Indeed. Falls though can often serve as a sudden and timely reminder of ones mortality. I know of a few older people in my life as I am sure we all do who have been quite shook up by a fall in their senior years. I was also genuinely surprised that he did not already have a thread. No I thought he had a previous history of hard living so assumed someone somewhere on these wise shores would have made a thread on him in recent years once he was entering his 8th decade! Greenwald 13 Posted February 4, 2020 Well, at least he would get some sympathy Oscar voters if he passes. #Pacino4BestSupporting. Jokes aside, there are so many different things that can cause trouble with your balance that I don't see much of a reason to keep a close eye on his status.
