Paul Bearer 6,109 Posted February 14, 2020 Listening to some song mix on Spotify the seekers came up. Just wondering what ever happened to Judith Durham aged 77 on 3rd July. Had a stroke in 2013 but haven't heard anything from her in a long while. Still alive and apparently still singing, but her stroke left her with writing and reading disabilities. Definite obit material. Thoughts?

Lord Fellatio Nelson 6,219 Posted February 14, 2020 The Seekers are my secret love. Judiths voice was just wonderful, as a group, so together, perfect. I think, when she goes, Australia will go into a week of official mourning.

TheKeysOfMarinus 390 Posted February 26, 2020 Read up on her and a bit shocked to see she left the Seekers last year, after being with them from their formation in 1962 until 1968, and then again from their 1992 reunion onwards. She has retired from live performances completely. Eek! 1

PS I am a McCartney super fan and I don’t want him to ever stop!

YoungWillz 21,067 Posted August 6, 2022 The blows keep coming. OldWillz and Mrs OldWillz big fans, so a lot of her voice in my childhood homes. Georgy Girl and Morningtown in particular. If there is a beyond, I know they will welcome Judith with open arms. RIP.
